2024 Membership Requirements
To be invited to join the team prospective members must meet the following criteria:

Reside in the Sacramento area.
Participate in local road races, minimum of three per year.
Agree to the terms and conditions of the Athlete Code of Conduct below.

Athlete Code of Conduct

Professional and Appropriate Representation of Sacramento Valley Endurance. Here’s what that means:

At all races (in town or out of town), wear only team singlets, practice shirts or warm-ups. In addition, wear only team gear at race functions, such as awards ceremonies.
Be respectful to all teammates and opponents. Acknowledge the accomplishments and efforts of others.
Choose your words carefully! Refrain from talking negatively about other team members, other teams, or anyone at practice, in races, and on Internet chat room, blogs, or social media (even anonymously).
Encourage all athletes, teammates and opponents to excel.
Whenever possible, be charitable and give back to the running community by volunteering or other activities.
Anytime you are wearing Sacramento Valley Endurance gear please remember you are representing the team and follow the code of conduct.

I hereby grant full permission to Sacramento Valley Endurance to use any photos, videos, or any other record of participation in this program for any legitimate purpose, including commercial use without monetary payment to me.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have been advised and fully understand that certain elements of danger are inherent in the programs and activities sponsored by Sacramento Valley Endurance which are beyond the control of the coaches, affiliated organizations and sponsors, their employees and associated personnel, including the owner of sites and facilities utilized for the programs, and that my participation in any programs may entail unavoidable risk or personal injury, death and loss of or damage to property.. I hereby assume all risks of injury and death and loss of or damage to property arising out of my participation in such activity and I agree to indemnify, hold harmless Sacramento Valley Endurance, its coaches, and employees from and against all claims arising from any occurrence causing damage or injury to myself or to any party participating in said programs or any third parties injured as a result of my actions. In the event that I require medical attention while participating in the programs, I hereby grant permission to Sacramento Valley Endurance and its representatives to provide for the rendering of such care, by authorized medical staff or their designees. I acknowledge that I am responsible for all reasonable expenses in connection with care and treatment rendered during this period. I have read and understand the terms and conditions of this Release, Indemnification, and Waiver and I agree to subscribe to them.
